Refund & Cancellation Policy – Kare First Patient Services

At Kare First Patient Services, we strive to deliver quality home care with trust, transparency, and professionalism. Our refund policy ensures that both our clients and caregivers are treated fairly and responsibly.
1. Advance Payments
All service bookings are confirmed only after receiving the required advance payment. The advance amount helps us block caregiver availability and schedule the required service.
2. Cancellation Prior to Service Commencement
If the client wishes to cancel the service at least 24 hours before the scheduled start, a full refund will be provided after deducting nominal administrative charges (if any). For cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled start, no full refund will be applicable, but requests will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
3. Cancellation After Service Has Started
If a client decides to discontinue services after commencement, the refund (if applicable) will be calculated on a pro-rata basis, considering the services already availed. Any non-refundable charges (e.g., caregiver travel costs, onboarding fees) will be deducted from the refundable amount.
4. Replacement or Service Interruption
In the event of caregiver unavailability, sudden leave, or unforeseen service interruptions from our end, replacement will be arranged promptly. If a suitable replacement cannot be arranged, the client may opt for a refund for the unutilized period.
5. Last-Minute Cancellations & No-Shows
No refunds will be issued for last-minute cancellations (within 24 hours) or no-shows once a caregiver has been assigned and scheduled.
6. Mode & Timeline of Refund
All approved refunds will be processed through the original mode of payment. Refunds are typically processed within 7–10 working days from the date of approval.
7. Special Cases
Refunds in cases of medical emergencies, hospitalization, or unavoidable circumstances will be handled with sensitivity and may be considered for special approval. Kare First Patient Services reserves the right to modify or update this policy as needed to ensure fair service for all clients.
